This is my mission, the reason I do what I do.

A good and loving relationship between people and their dogs creates a caring and enjoyable togetherness both at home and in the outside world. Training is the foundation to a carefree relationship for both people and dogs.

But, loving doesn’t mean a relationship with no boundaries.

Loving means training with positive reinforcement. You don’t achieve anything by punishing your dog and in the worst-case scenario you’ll damage your relationship.
Positive training means focussing on everything that goes well and rewarding that.
Because dogs are like people: behaviours that pay off are repeated.

Understanding is the foundation.

Every dog is different. Every owner is different. That’s why woof-o offers individual coaching, completely tailored to your personal situation.

The basis of my training is understanding your dog’s needs and behaviour.

Not all behaviour that you consider troubling is actually problematic. That’s why I find it important to create in my clients a fundamental understanding of dog behaviour.

What are the benefits of private training for you?

We train at your home and in your own neighbourhood.
We train what you and your dog need.
We don’t train tricks but things you need in your daily life.
You and your dog have my undivided attention and there is lots of room for questions.
After every session you’ll receive a hand-out with a detailed description of what we did that session plus additional information.

Single sessions and packages

Depending on if you have a puppy or a rescue, every situation needs a different approach. Woof-o offers single sessions as well as affordable packages.

Single session

Topic and content to be chosen by you. No matter if you have a specific issue regarding the behaviour of your puppy. your young dog or your adult dog. I am happy to help.

One session of 45 minutes is € 55 incl. BTW / excl. kilometre and/or parking costs.

Your dog’s issue may have a deeper cause than lack of training. If this is the case, I will recommend a qualified dog behaviourist.

Basic Puppy course

This course contains 5 private sessions of 45 minutes each and costs € 250 incl. BTW / excl. kilometre- and/or parking costs.

Advanced Puppy cours

In addition to the content in the Basic Puppy course, we’ll also cover the following topics:

Physical and mental development of your puppy.
First steps towards staying home alone
Visitors at your house
How to interact with other dogs on the street or at the park.
Getting used to everything outside (living creatures as well as things)

This course contains 8 private sessions of 45 minutes each and costs € 400 incl. BTW / excl. kilometre- and/or parking costs.

Basic Education course

This course is especially for adopted dogs from shelters in The Netherlands or abroad.

Content:

Understanding the origin and background of your dog.
Understanding of the shown behaviour.
Building trust in you
Relaxed walking on the leash
Behaviour on the street during walks
Recall
Body language and stress signals of your dog
First steps towards staying home alone
The importance of brainwork and puzzels

Advanced Education course

In addition to the content in the Basic Education course, we’ll also cover the following topics:

Visitors in the house
Dealing with the world outside, on the street and in the park
SOS lifesavers when facing a difficult situation especially outdoors
Body care
